# Approve or decline a card

> Act on a card: what runs at once with an undo, and what waits for a deliberate confirmation.

## Steps

1. Open the card. It leads with the question, a recommendation and its reasoning. Options sit side by side; detail opens when you ask for it.
2. Approve, defer, or talk it through.
3. If the action can be taken back, it runs at once. You get a short undo window. Its length is not published here.
4. If it cannot be taken back, confirm on purpose. Anything that leaves the organization, such as an outbound message or a payment. The weightier the call, the more deliberate the confirmation.

## What you have at the end

Your decision is on the record: who made it, when, and what they chose.
